SHUXINTANG Children’s Architectural Curriculum Research Center was established in August 1, 2015, as a key research and development department of Chongqing Tuomu Culture & Communication Co., Ltd. It focuses on studying the educational theory of children’s architecture and art education, public education programs, educational environment design cases and exhibitions around the world, and aims to promote educational architectural programs for children aged 3-12 in China.
SHUXINTANG provides educational architectural curriculum packages specially designed for full-time primary schools, kindergartens, children’s education and training companies as well as public education institutions. It also organizes seminars and family-oriented architectural workshops on a regular basis.
We are devoted to increasing children’s opportunities to receive high-quality liberal education in their daily lives and bring awareness of citizenship to the younger generation with the support of families, schools and communities.
WEN Jing, Director of SHUXINTANG Children’s Architectural Curriculum Research Center. WEN JING has been graduated from China Agricultural University in 2008 and quit from KU Leuven, Belgium as biological Ph.D candidate in 2012. Prepared with great enthusiasm in Architecture, she traveled around Europe as a photojournalist and columnist. She had conducted independent reviews and reports on the Venice Biennale, dOCUMENTA (13), Art Brussels as well as other architectural/art events in Europe. She started to experiment with the idea of “Gesamtkunstwerk of Childhood” in the realm of Educational Architecture since 2015.
